What is Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR)?
- Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat 2021 targets the B40 group with an income bracket of RM 5,000 and below
- Eligible applicants can apply during the initiative period via online or by visiting a LHDNM branch
- The following enhancements to BPR have been announced on 17th March 2021, under the PEMERKASA package:

Who is eligible for the Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR)?
Applicants are eligible for the BPR 2021 initiative if they fulfil the eligible category below:
- Malaysian citizen (MyKad) who is residing in Malaysia only; and
- Married; or
- Single mother or father / widow / widower / divorcee with children; or
- Singles (including disabled person) aged 60 years old and above; and
- Household income is RM5,000 and below
- Malaysian citizen (MyKad) who is residing in Malaysia only; and
- Single or single mother or father/ widow/ widower / divorcee with no children; and
- Between the ages of: 21 years to 59 years old; or 18 years old and 59 years old for disabled person; and
- Individual income is less than RM2,500
